This is one of the best water guns that can be bought. They are certainly outclassed in terms of power by many more modern stream-based designs, but this gun is better in many respects. Nothing surpasses this gun for lobbing waterballs over enemies' cover, mortarlike, and this gun holds more shots per fill than the closest competition by a factor of 7 or more. The retribution you can inflict on your opponents while they refill and you still have a 2/3 full tank more than makes up for the lack of sheer power. The best thing, perhaps, about this gun is the durability. I have had mine for almost a decade and it still works as well as the day I got it. It has survived spectactular falls, being stepped on, being thrown, being underwater for hours, being ill-cared for, and years of service. The mechanism seems to resist water damage. This may seem obvious, but many SuperSoakers cannot take being submerged in pool water, but this gun has no such problems. The balls of water make a very satisfying splatter and burst upon hitting something, making them more entertaining than simple streams. This gun deserves your consideration for being one of the best designed, most durable and foolproof, and purely fun water blasters available.

Make sure that the Waterball 100 is primed before use by pulling back the launch sled 10 to 15 times. This allows water to be in all parts of the launcher. Hold the Waterball Launcher at a 45-degree angle, with the launch stabilizer held to your chest. Slowly pull back the launch sled, and when you feel resistance from the spring, flick the sled back.
