This is a great product. We used one of these for my son and now we have one for my grandson. It holds them up in the water and they can motivate to where they want to go. You must realize, though, that anytime you have a child in the water you must remain close by and observant. This is something that gives them autonomy and a lets them learn to kick their feet.

This is the best product ever I have twins so this will be my third time bulying these very safe and of course a parent should always be there it's very safe always go by age range u need the perfect fit. And if a child can't float right away then continue to help and they will learn balance fast....thanks for having these the best invention yet♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this.

I have used this product with both of my boys (one is 4 and the other is almost 2). It is not a substitute for a parent being right there, but no other floatation device has given them the confidence to swim and kick around independently. As long as you are supervising your child. this float will help them learn to swim like a fish!!!
